What are Import Duties? How Are Import Duties Calculated?

Import duties to be paid at the customs administrations are specified 3-8/9 of the Customs Law No. 4458.

8.  a) The term “customs duties” means all of the import duties or export taxes applied to the goods in accordance with the relevant legislation;

b) The term “customs liability” means that the taxpayer must pay customs duties;

a) Customs duty payable on importation of the goods and other taxes and financial burdens with equivalent effect,
